I have placed a poll about reservation policies for SC and ST or OBC by Indian government. This is a very old act and I feel that reservation is civilized way of discrimination. When this act was created it was thought that the act would be abolished after 20 or so years, but it never happened. Governments came and went away and used this act as vote machine. This act in some respects can be said was a right step in starting.
